Terms and conditions
These terms govern your use of BuildBoost. By connecting GitHub or using the app, you agree to them.
Last updated June 28, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using BuildBoost (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The service
BuildBoost reads commits from the GitHub repositories you choose and drafts social posts for you to review, edit, and publish yourself. The Service helps you write; you decide what to share and where.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use BuildBoost. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your GitHub connection secure.
GitHub access
BuildBoost requests read-only access to the repositories you select. We never write to your repositories and never post to any platform on your behalf. You can revoke access from your GitHub settings at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights.
- Generate or share spam, harassment, or misleading content.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Resell or misrepresent the Service as your own.
Plans and billing
BuildBoost may offer paid plans. When it does, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders and handles payments, billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and your plan will remain active through the end of the current billing period. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period unless required by law.
Refunds
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, refunds are handled through Paddle in line with their refund policy and applicable consumer law. To request a refund, contact us or Paddle using the details on your receipt.
Your content
You own the drafts you create and the content in your repositories. By using the Service, you grant us the limited permission needed to read your selected commits and generate drafts for you. If you opt in to the public feed, you grant us permission to display the updates you choose to share there.
Our intellectual property
BuildBoost, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us. These terms do not grant you any right to our intellectual property beyond using the Service as intended.
AI-generated content
Drafts are generated with the help of AI and may be inaccurate or need editing. You are responsible for reviewing anything you post. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildBoost will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from content you choose to publish.
Termination
You may stop using BuildBoost at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the Service in a way that harms others or the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
